Youth African Drumming Workshop “Talking Drums”

This FREE four week class for 4th-8th graders, will teach participants the basic language and techniques of African Drumming applying them to original drum cadences named after African and African American leaders, all created by BTNF instructor Moziah Saleem in his “Talking Drums” curriculum.

About the Event

About the Venue: The Clubhouse is a 100-seat, intimate performance space located in the heart of the Catonsville Arts District. Recently acquired, it is owned and operated by the Baltimore County Arts Guild and serves as a center of the arts in Baltimore County. Additional classrooms provide space for classes and workshops.
