Holiday Decorating Contest!

Local Businesses and Artists, Come Together to Shine!

This holiday season, help us transform Catonsville into a winter wonderland filled with festive lights, creative displays, and heartwarming joy! Imagine strolling down Frederick Road, where each business has come alive with twinkling lights, artistic designs, and a touch of holiday magic—each display celebrating the spirit of Catonsville.

How it Works:

• Artists must register by Nov 27th to be paired with a business. ( Limit to 15 Creatives)

• Businesses must register by Nov 27th to be paired with an artist. 

• Artists/Creatives will receive a $200 stipend for volunteering to decorate a business window.

 

Each window, every light, all the colors and creativity woven into the displays are a gift from our community to yours. We invite everyone to wander, admire, and feel the warmth of Catonsville’s unique charm as we light up together for the season.

Let the community decide the winners! Viewer voting will determine the top displays, awarding exciting stipends to both businesses and artists.

​

To celebrate the artists who receive the highest community support, recognition stipends will be distributed as follows:

• Top Votes – Bonus Stipend: $300

• 2nd Stipend: $200

• 3rd Stipend: $150

• 4th & 5th Stipends: $50 each

​

Businesses with the highest community votes will also receive recognition stipends:

• Top 3 Businesses – $150 each

• 4th & 5th – $50 each

​

📆 Important Dates:

• Registration Launch: November 7, 2025

  • Creatives must register by November 29th

  • Businesses must register by November 29th to work with a creative

• Contest Launch: November 29th

• Registration Deadline: December 12th

• Voting open: December 14-23rd

• Winners Announced: December 24th
