About the Event

BEGINNERS WELCOME!

Cost: $5 per class per person

Pay cash at the door or online

IMPORTANT: You’ll want to dance in supportive shoes with a smooth hard sole — NOT athletic shoes.

Discover the joy of sean-nós ("old style") Irish dancing in this welcoming beginner class! If you've ever wanted to get up and dance to traditional Irish music, this is the perfect place to start. Designed for adults with little or no previous dance experience, you'll learn the fundamental steps, rhythms, and techniques of sean-nós dancing in a fun, supportive environment. Along the way, you'll build confidence while learning to dance to reels and jigs – the lively tunes at the heart of Ireland's rich musical tradition.
