Mixed Media Shadowbox Workshop

Join artist, Jennifer Pernia, at the clubhouse for an afternoon of making a unique mix media piece of art.

Participants will turn an ordinary cigar box into their own whimsical mix media piece of art!  

Artist Jennifer Pernia will use the first 15 minutes of the class to discuss techniques and offer ideas for inspiration. No previous art experience is required.  All materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring personal photo or postcard, and are welcome to bring magazine clippings and or any materials they would like to incorporate into the shadow box. Ages 16 and up.

About the Venue: The Clubhouse is a 100-seat, intimate performance space located in the heart of the Catonsville Arts District. Recently acquired, it is owned and operated by the Baltimore County Arts Guild and serves as a center of the arts in Baltimore County. Additional classrooms provide space for classes and workshops.
