“Lippan art” is a traditional Indian mixed media artwork done using mud and mirror, and is native to the state of Gujarat in Northern India. This folk-art form is done using materials locally available in the region like a mixture of clay and mirrors.

About the Event

This mud art has gained attention and appreciation over the years and is now quite prevalent in urban homes as well.

In this class, you will learn how to create Lippan art on canvas using air-dry clay and mirrors with mixed media artist Durga Ekambaram.    


Student Age Range: 7 years to adults

Suppplies included in the workshop cost.
