About the Event
Kristoffer Belgica: The music of the Roma people spans all of Europe, from Spain to the Balkans. In this program, we will survey the music of the world-renowned French-Romani jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Songs showcased will mainly feature the so-called “Gypsy jazz” repertoire as well as popular tunes of Romani and eastern European origin that were played during and after Reinhardt’s musical career.
The Flute Brothers: Improvisational flute music from different cultures.
Tickets: $10.00. Doors open at 6:30pm.
About the Venue: The Clubhouse is a 100-seat, intimate performance space located in the heart of the Catonsville Arts District. Recently acquired, it is owned and operated by the Baltimore County Arts Guild and serves as a center of the arts in Baltimore County. Additional classrooms provide space for classes and workshops.
