FREE Family Workshop- When I think of Home...

This project invites guests to explore themes of home and family, memory, identity, and place making.  Participants are asked to respond to the prompt “what reminds you of home?”  and to write, paint, and/or collage their responses onto giant puzzle pieces.  These pieces will be mounted to a backing, creating a giant, collaborative, puzzle piece mural.  Admission: is FREE but Tickets are required so we can keep track of how many people are joining us!

Participants will...

• Share stories about their homes, cultures, and personal experiences.

• Learn about different painting/craft making techniques.

• Develop a community art project.

• Create in the name of promoting vulnerability, empathy, and communal joy.
