Family Arts and Crafts Morning with Clay

Learn about clay alongside family and peers! Kids and families are invited to take a morning off and make some guided art projects with local artist and teacher, Asho Buckingham. This two part series will guide youngsters and their families through making two model magic pieces. In the first class, students will create a small sculpture to keep, while also learning the materials and discussing color. The second part of this series, on Mother’s day, artists and their families will use model magic to embellish and transform a picture frame before making an art piece to go with it - a perfect gift for Mom! This class series is ideal for kids ages (4-10) and their families.
