Tiny worlds ... big dreams! Remember the joy of creating tiny fairy worlds and dioramas as a child? Rediscover the world of dreams and fascination in this two-and-a-half-hour workshop. Use your imagination to create a miniature world (or “sand/Zen box”) using cigar boxes and a variety of mixed media. Discover a freefall of ideas where whimsy meets spirit. We will use a variety of paints, collage materials, “tiny objects”, natural objects (such as sand, stone, and glass) as well as an ephemera of other items to rediscover the joy of play. No previous experience is required. Ages 8 to adult. All materials (and snacks) will be provided.
