Fall Outdoor Concert Series 9/26
Time & Location
About the Event
Bring a chair or blanket and settle in on the north lawn for an evening concert by juried musicians. Tickets are free but limited to ensure social distancing. Our first concert in the series features two local musicians with extensive performing experience.
Tim McCusker comes from a family of musicians. He has been singing and playing mandolin and guitar since his high school days in the Sixties. Along with music, he spent several years in the theatre, touring the US, including a state-wide tour of Alaska in 1980. Returning to Baltimore, he taught theatre at CCBC Essex and Cardinal Gibbons School. Retirement has offered him opportunities to keep up his associations with music and theatre in the local community.
Roger Friskey grew up in Chicago listening to the folk/blues greats of the day. Those early influences formed the basis of the lively fingerstyle guitar arrangements and eclectic song lyrics Baltimore area audiences have come to know. He’s a regular performer at the Village Square Café at Cross Keys and was most recently featured at Sherwood Gardens’ September Sundays concerts.
These classes, events and workshops are provided through the support of the Baltimore County Arts Guild, the Maryland State Arts Council and the Citizens of Baltimore County.
The Baltimore County Arts Guild complies with all county and state safety guidelines related to Covid 19. Social distancing and masks are required.
