About the Event
Celebrate World Arts Month with a hands-on Creative Wellness Workshop where art, music, and community come together. Hosted by art therapy interns from Creative Psychological Health Services in partnership with the Baltimore County Arts Guild, this engaging experience invites participants to explore creativity and wellness in a welcoming space, with support from funding by the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences.
Using paper hand-held fans, beads, and yarn, participants will decorate their own fans as a reflection of their personal style. Then, bring your creation to life as a hand-held percussion instrument—perfect for expressing your musical self, releasing energy, and supporting emotional wellness through rhythm and sound.
Held at Martha’s Cafe, this free, all-ages event is also a wonderful opportunity to support a local business. Stay awhile and enjoy something good to eat while you create, connect, and unwind together.
