About the Event
Inspired by food grown and harvested in the Fall, and in an effort to practice more eco-friendly approaches to artmaking, participants will experiment with relief printmaking using natural inks made from root vegetables. This workshop will utilize linoleum blocks for carving, so it’s best suited for individuals with intermediate to advanced printmaking experience.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of eco-conscious art methods, a series of one-of-a-kind prints, and inspiration for incorporating natural pigments into future creative projects. This is a chance to engage with printmaking in a new way—rooted in both craft and care for the environment.
