American Skies: Art Exhibit

This show includes work from various visual artists whose art celebrates "looking up" at the skies across the United States of America. As we celebrate our 250^th national anniversary, these artists explore the different ways that "looking up" and rendering the American sky (literally or metaphorically) influence our individual and shared sense of belonging; to ourselves, to the planet, and to the communities around us. America is a vast, complicated, and diverse place. Art is a way of representing that which we honor, question, challenge or find beauty.
