About the Event
A Bumble Bee’s View, artist Eileen Cave
Explore the magnification of flowers in a garden, transitioning your observations from realistic to abstract using a variety of materials. Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings inspire compositions of petals, stems and leaves to create color-intense, textured art.
Apply color theory, pressure shading variation techniques and dry and wet mediums. All stages of artistic skill, 12 years and older.
Eileen Cave is a teaching visual artist who resides in the Gateway Arts District in Prince Georges County, MD.
She creates acrylic paintings, collages, prints and greeting cards sold in local galleries and shops, and enjoys integrating nature with creativity to promote wellness.
