About the Event
Please join us for an intimate talk with Ann Quinn and her new poetry collection. Ann will take us through her journey of writing the collection and what she hopes reader’s will glean from her performance of the poetry. You can learn more about Ann at www.annquinn.net

About the Author: Ann Quinn (b. 1964) was born in Monterey, California, to a naval pilot father and a Presbyterian minister mother. She is now a poet, editor, teacher, mentor, mother, and classical clarinetist. In her poetry collection, Final Deployment, published by Finishing Line Press, the child of a Vietnam War naval aviator matures into motherhood and experiences the death of her own mother. These poems remind us of what nature teaches about death’s necessity and its potential for transfiguration.
