Chinedu Victor is a contemporary, Nigerian born artist based in Los Angeles. He focuses

on portraiture and figurative paintings. He executes his art using brushes and palette

knives. His work is inspired by his childhood and life experiences. Many of his paintings

have a rough feel to it representing his childhood. He also adds abstract elements into

his work because “a perfect painting is just a photograph on a canvas”.
