Linda Baer: As a performing singer-songwriter, Baer creates songs with narratives and musical leanings that are steeped in the rich traditions of Appalachian folk song, Hebrew chant, Delta Blues, British balladry, Yiddish laments, and more.  She has performed in concert as a headliner at coffeehouses, folk festivals, folk song societies, synagogues, and organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic for 30+ years.

Lara Herscovitch is a gem of a modern American troubadour. A singer-songwriter-poet, performer & advocate, her highly original contemporary folk is spiced with blues, pop & jazz influences. She writes, sings & leads with authenticity, integrity, humor & heart & delivers performances that inspire, inform, uplift & entertain diverse audiences. Sound Waves Magazine described her mastery as “expertly written prose… songwriting at its best… Lara gets it all done with her skillful songwriting – musical timing, memorable melodies, compelling lyrics. It’s good for your ears AND your soul.”  This craftsmanship travels on a voice that Performer Magazine called “clear & smooth like expensive liquor” & is accompanied by guitar infused with her skill as a percussionist.” Former State Troubadour of Connecticut, she has played thousands of notable stages and festivals including A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor & Pete Seeger’s Clearwater Festival & Great Hudson River Revival.

Tickets: $25.00. Available at Brown Paper Tickets.
